I know we have been a little slower than anyone would have liked on minutes, and I would like to let people know where we are with them. Everyone but Trebor got off to a very slow start, but we are now closing in on finishing them. They still need to go through NDA review and be edited, but in the interest of transparency, I wanted to share where we are on them.
Here are the sessions: (with people that signed up for each one in parens afterwards) and bold for done
Day 1 CSM Intro / Whitepaper (Trebor) Stakeholder (Trebor) Winter 2012 Expansion (Xhagen) EVE Future (Xhagen) State of Incarna (Alek) Live Events (Elise)
Day 2 Corporation Management (Hans) EVE/DUST Link (Two step) EVE UI (Seleene) Industry and Mining (Issler) Nullsec (Alek) Player Experience - Launcher (Trebor) Starbase Rework (Two step) Wardecs and Crimewatch (Hans)
Day 3 Art (Greene Lee) Content (Two step) EVE Economy (Trebor) Faction Warfare (Hans) New Player Experience (Trebor) Security (Dovinian) Ship Balance (Elise) Treaties (Seleene)
Hopefully we should be able to wrap up the remaining sessions in the next week and have the minutes out a week or two after that, at the latest. CSM 7 Secretary CSM 6 Alternate Delegate @two_step_eve on Twitter My Blog

I just finished the Content session, and updated the first post.
As for a DUST CSM, what CCP has said is that it is really too early to talk about it. I suspect that if DUST does well, we might end up with a couple of DUST players being elected to the CSM, but I would expect CCP would do separate elections. The topic has been discussed though. Updated first post, we are down to 2 sessions, and Hans is already working on one of them. I also did a big editing pass on the minutes as a whole, and CCP has been approving them for NDA fairly quickly. CSM 7 Secretary CSM 6 Alternate Delegate @two_step_eve on Twitter My Blog

We are down to just one session, because Trebor is awesome and did the art panel yesterday. Hans was over half done with that last session, so hopefully it will be finished up today. The NDA review shouldn't take too long, I think there is a good chance the minutes will be out next week. CSM 7 Secretary CSM 6 Alternate Delegate @two_step_eve on Twitter My Blog

Updated, we are now done with the first drafts for all sessions.
As for releasing a full transcript or the audio or video of the sessions, there are a few reasons why that is not a good idea: 1) CCPers will have to be *much* more careful what they say. You guys already carefully parse everything they write on the forums, just thing what he tinfoil hat brigade would do with 24 hours of video! 2) As I mentioned before, it is 24 hours of video. Most people on the CSM who don't go to iceland don't even watch all the sessions. You can ready the 150 or 200 pages of minutes a lot quicker. 3) Having text makes it a lot easier to quote small portions for discussion here. Trust me, even just transcribing a few minutes of speech into a few quick paragraphs isn't easy, and you guys don't want to all be doing it.
With that being said, I think it might be interesting to release some of the videos, especially after some time has passed and NDA concerns are no longer important. I think it would be really good for the CSM process for everyone to understand how the Iceland summit works. Sadly, I don't think the videos of the past summits would be worth putting up, as you really cannot follow what is going on. Now that we have the new Lync camera thing, it might be worth thinking about putting some of the videos from this summit up sometime in the future. The issue would be that if someone wanted to know what happened at the summit, they would either have to watch 24 hours of video or rely on someone else to do so.
I have asked for stuff like this in the past, and I don't think CCP would be willing to do it. CSM 7 Secretary CSM 6 Alternate Delegate @two_step_eve on Twitter My Blog

Yes, and all but one session has been approved by CCP. Once that session is edited or OK'd, the minutes should go out. CSM 7 Secretary CSM 6 Alternate Delegate @two_step_eve on Twitter My Blog

(Remember they're mostly on vacation, so we're stuck harassing people that aren't even in the office about this) Once that happens, the CSM needs like 24-48 hours to read through the final edition ourselves before release.
It'll be a few more days, at least.
Shame they didn't wait maybe a week after the summit to allow you all enough time to do the minutes, before going on vacation. Wait a minute. They have 2-3 month vacations?? LOL the problem was CCP waited almost 2 months after the summit to go on vacation but our CSM reps took so damn long.
I'd suggest you direct your disappointment to the CSM reps who didn't write any minutes, not to the ones that did, and have mostly been posting in this thread. CSM 7 Secretary CSM 6 Alternate Delegate @two_step_eve on Twitter My Blog
